The Little Red Playschool now offers an after school program.  The daily focus of After Play is enriching play experiences, arts and crafts, and nature explorations.  We offer a home-like atmosphere, with room to play, rest, and space for quiet time and homework.  Children have access to books, toys, arts and craft supplies, and a safe, enclosed playground with room to climb, build, create, and relax in a beautiful nature setting.  Enrichment activities such as yoga, community helping, cooking, music, science, and dramatic arts are also built into the school-year.

Located only 2 blocks from Key Elementary School, our caring staff members pick up your children from school and accompany them down the tree-lined hill to the Little Red Playschool--where fun and discovery awaits!  

After Play is led by Little Red Playschool, and former Key After School Program director Barbara Elsas, and facilitated by trained staff members with early childhood, teaching, and/or arts education experience.

Hours*: 3:00-6:00pm, Monday - Friday (we follow the DCPS School Holiday Schedule)*

Cost: $8,400 for September-June (Monday through Friday when school is in session).
